United States Mint Official American Presidency $1 Coin Cover Series

 


The United States Mint will showcase each Presidential $1 Coin in a collectible Philatelic Numismatic Cover (PNC). Each cover will feature a portrait of the President in front of an American flag as well as coin from each mint (Philadelphia and Denver) struck on the first day of production.

Beginning with George Washington and continuing through James A. Garfield, each cover will have a U. S. postage stamp cancelled with the postmark dated on the first day the dollar was issued. Beginning with the Chester Arthur cover, the postmark will be dated with the first day the cover was issued.
